Xerox Art


This project was a ton of fun to make but also very awkward.  I didn't quite get the whole aspect of the project but it was fun putting things together and  creating something with just the creativity that I have and my imagination.  I couldn't just picture something in my head, I had to go with the flow and do whatever I felt was right in the moment.


Prior to this project, I had never used nor heard of a xerox machine in my entire life. I went to the computer lab and looked like a complete doofus trying to figure out how to work it. I looked up videos and asked for help from strangers until I eventually got it down. The awkwardness came in when I had to put my head face first on the Xerox machine and of course the computer lab had to be packed that day. Everyone was just looking at me like I'm crazy, and I had to explain what it was for to whoever happened to ask. I was there for a good 15 minutes just printing parts of my body but it was actually really interesting.


My roommates constantly laugh at my project because it looks like im kissing myself. I plan to keep it up above my bed until The end of the semester. It brings my dull, prison-like room to life and is another piece of art that I can show off in my confinements. I really enjoyed this project because it wasn't as tedious as the others, and it let me use pure creativity and Imagination.

FlipBook Assignment

`This flipbook assignment was by far the most fun and interesting assignment that I had in college so far. It allowed me to just put whatever was on my mind onto a sheet of paper and allow others to see the creativity that I hold as well as my fellow classmates. Although mine isn't a masterpiece like others that you may see, I really enjoyed making mine and that's all that matters. These are the types of assignments I look forward to in my art class and I hope there are more to come. `After finishing my flipbook, I went online and searched for other flipbooks made from people and I was astonished with what I found. ART AND TECHNOLOGY FINAL

Life as a college student sure does sound like one big hoorah when your young and have been stuck in your parents house, under their rules your whole life. But with all the fun comes much more stress and responsibility and thats what I tried to capture here in this clip. The first months of college are always a blast and the most exciting time of our lives but as time goes on the work just piles up more and more,day by day. At times youll feel so overwhelmed and feel like you cant relax or take a break because it will only further the stress but that is not true. Learn how to take a break and regroup with your life or surroundings. Call your parents, text your life long friend, do something that eases your mind and doesnt make you feel like theres an elephant on your chest. College isnt as serious and important as you think it is but your health surely is!!! EAT, SLEEP, WORK, PARTY, AND REPEAT!
